Meet The Founder
David Mitran
Every great idea begins with a spark — mine was a vision. Not just of what could be created, but of the standard it should live up to. I’ve always approached my work with a quiet intensity: if I commit to something, it must have meaning, vision, and intention behind it.
KINTLUMA was born from this approach — a natural extension of how I see the world. A place where we take ideas and elevate them, not just through strategy, but through soul.
The name KINTLUMA blends kintsugi (the Japanese art of mending with gold) and lumen. To me, it means this: using the lessons of your past to shine a light on your authenticity — not to cover your cracks, but to celebrate them. That’s where the true elegance lies.
This isn’t just metaphor. I’ve spent over 15 years navigating Borderline Personality Disorder. At times, it feels like a battle. But it has shaped a resilience and depth that infuses everything I do — from brand strategy to executive coaching.
I created KINTLUMA to serve businesses that hold themselves to a higher standard — not because they seek the spotlight, but because they carry stories worth telling with care. Building a remarkable brand isn’t about volume. It’s about precision, emotional resonance, and a deep understanding of what the customer is truly seeking within themselves.
We partner with visionary businesses who value clarity, creativity, and depth, helping them transform bold ideas into luminous expressions of identity and purpose. Through strategic branding and forward-thinking design, we create impactful experiences that move people — and endure.
What I Bring
Clients say they value my ability to:
Focus on practical solutions without losing the deeper thread
Communicate clearly and intentionally
See things others don’t — and offer a perspective rooted in positive psychology, optimism, and quiet integrity
Whether we’re elevating a brand concept, designing an integrated marketing journey, or navigating leadership development — I always encourage people to return to their core: Their values. Their passion. Their truth.
Once we rediscover what’s real, we can finally begin to illuminate it.
